CP New
I laid back on my bed, grumbling. This place was so empty... but what did you expect? I like my teenage form thank you very much, and I don't like guys taking advantage of me.... So here I was in my brand new, paint-splattered cabin at the new and improved Camp Half-Blood. I was soooo close to going home but of course it didn't happen. I slammed my head on something and cursed loudly. I scrambled up and looked at my pillow. Same satin red pillow case... I moved it and a black leather journal fell out of the pillow case.
I furrowed my eyebrows. What the hell was this? I opened it and saw the cramped, messy handwriting that I regretted I had scrawled across the first page.
CRYPTO'S PERSPECTIVE
Oh shit... was this really what I thought it was? I flipped to the next page. Yup, it was the old journal I had kept before Poseidon had asked me to look over Percy. I was kind of curious about what I'd put in here, was I happy back then? Did I like Camp? I lay back down on my bed, bemused, and started to read.

October 25th (One year after the creation of Thalia's tree)
"Are you sure you wanna be let out here ma'am? There ain't nothing here."
I winced at his bad grammar and scowled. "Yes. Let me the fuck out."
"Gotta pay me first, doll."
I growled and shoved my hand in my pocket. Surely I had to have some mortal money on me... I growled as all I felt were drachmas. I took a deep breath and concentrated hard, imagining painting a stack a crisp bills and pulling off the canvas. I smiled and pulled the money out of my pocket and handed it to him before he unlocked the doors. Wait until he found out that only one of the bills is real and the rest merely copies. I guess just being the demigod strength of my normal power could be fun.... But I still missed my paintbrush. I looked up the hill, Thalia's tree my father had dubbed it after his "favorite" daughter other than Athena herself. It was still a mere sprouting even though it had already been a year. I stretched out and started hiking up the steep hill towards it.
"Hiya sis." I said sarcastically, patting the sapling slightly as if it was the fourteen year-old's head. My fingers left a small rainbow-ed tint to the needles. I walked through the barrier and smiled, feeling the tingle of the magic of the force field keeping this demigod haven safe from harm. I stumbled slightly down the hill and nearly rolled to the feet of a patrol. I grinned sheepishly up at them to see a boy staring at me like I was mad. "I haven't seen you before." He said. I looked up. So this was the famous Luke Castellan that Hermes wouldn't shut up about. He was slightly scrawny with a white scar running down his left cheek.
"Uhhhhhh...." I thought about how to introduce myself. You can't just go around saying 'Hi, I'm Crypto, the goddess of art and my father is punishing me for a framed crime and so he sent me here to this hellhole.' Actually... Hellhole isn't the right word... I've been to my uncle Hades place and despite it being as hot as well.... Hell and full of the dead. It's pretty cool.
So I'm gonna try this again... sorry for being so inactive but I haven't exactly been chock full of ideas recently and school starts Monday so I may not have time to anyways. Plus I just got a new job so.... Yea...
