Is This Goodbye
Chapter Three
Third Person POV

Sandra carefully tapped her papers on her desk. This wasn’t going as well as she thought it would. After taking care of all the noisy magicians in the fiftieth nome, (which in her mind, wasn’t exactly hard to find when someone like her knew Denver so well, of course it was the in the basement of the large Tattered Cover in Downtown.) she had sent out a magical notice saying she was holding a sort of “audition” for new recruits into her army.
Draco had left about an hour ago to see if he could find any books that would help find the weaknesses of those “bloody gits that won’t leave the world alone” as he said.
So Sandra dealt with the creepers who answered her call alone... there was a man who claimed his boss was the “all seeing magical eye that lived in an alternate universe across dimensions. Sandra liked him, he was big and scary and completely hideous. But he lacked the character she was looking for and seemed scared half to death when she pulled out her phone to ask Draco what was taking him so long.

The next man was tall and handsome, with pale blonde hair and black eyes. He claimed to be what he called a nephilim, but Sandra wasn’t quite sure what that was. He had a place in New York, which was good, but there was something about him that unnerved Sandra, so she told him she would call him back if she didn’t find anyone else.

She had gone through so many requests to join she was exhausted. Hoping Malfoy would finish his research and trade with her, Sandra leaned back in her chair, waiting for the next person to come in. To her delight, the next person looked perfect. He was young, with black hair and dark, navy blue eyes.

“I need your name, age, and why you believe you should be recruited.” Sandra stated bluntly, though she leaned forwards in her seat. This boy, though quite young, looked promising.

“My name is Artemis Fowl II, I am eleven years old, but I am a genius, plus I am rich. I should be recruited because I want to make my name known, and if you don’t I will turn you and your boyfriend into the local police and ask them to send you to an insane asylum.”

Sandra was slightly lost because of the thick  Irish accent the young man had but she broke out of it when she heard the word police. “That won’t be necessary!” She said quickly. “Congratulations on joining our side! Please, have a cookie! I baked them myself.” She smiled as sweetly as she could as she offered the eleven year-old a chocolate chip cookie.

He rolled his eyes and took a cookie, sitting down next to her and straightening his suit.

Sandra leaned away from him slightly. Man, this kid was intimidating... Draco opened and closed the door. “Sandra, why is there an insanely large man in a suit out there? Is he here for us?”

“Sorry, he’s my bodyguard, come in Butler.” Artemis said, nonchalantly.

The tall man walked in and glared at Sandra and Draco, causing her to shrink backwards.

“Well this might turn out better than I thought it would...” Draco smirked.
Yay! I finally posted this! *Collapses*
The first person to guess the two other antagonists mentioned in the story (Not Artemis, Sandra, or Draco) will get a Llama!
Btw, this is Artemis pre-faery, because I'm lazy
