You walked into the main room of the base, ready to rip off your cast and sling. So what if your snapped bone wasn't healed all the way? You were sick of having your best arm immobilized. Robin and the others helped but it made you feel weak. Especially since, they kept replaying the footage on the news.
The one time you decide to jump from high up... Cats were supposed to land on their feet!
You sighed and fell onto the couch. You picked one of your long, black, laced boots and tried to slip it on your foot. This is harder than it seems when you only have one useable hand. You growled in frustration and threw the show across the room.
"Ow!" Someone yelled.
You jumped up, ready to apologize to the person your evil shoe hit. You blushed when you saw Robin holding your shoe. "Ah! I'm so sorry!" You cried.
"Need some help with your shoes, (y/n)?"
You nodded meekly, still blushing. Robin smiled and sat you back down on the couch. He took your shoe, slipped it on your foot, and continued to lace it up. When he was finished, he continued to do the other one. "T-thanks, Robin." You mumbled.
"No problem, (y/n)." He smiled and ruffled your (h/c) hair, making you think that there was smoke coming off your face from the degree of blushing.
Okay so you may have a (*cough* large *cough*) small crush on the leader of the Teen Titans and it didn't help when he called you (y/n) instead of Catgirl. Nevertheless, you had Starfire to compete with! In addition, she got scary when she was angry or protective.
However, you were content to admire him from afar... For now.
Feeling bored you flipped on the TV to the news channel. Just your luck, they were replaying THE footage.
"On Tuesday night, Jump Cities own Catgirl was following a criminal across the cities rooftops when she took a daring jump and broke her arm. No one knows how this hero is taking this. Physically or emotionally, but we have received news that there are still heroes working on the criminal's case. In other-"
The TV went dark. "Hey I was watching that!" You whined.
"(Y/n), you shouldn't worry about that."
It was Robin.
"Why not? It's my fault! Now I'm not aloud to do anything! I cannot even tie my own shoe! You had to do it for me! Now I cannot fight and you are left to clean up my mess! I just can't stand being so help-"
You were cut off when something connected with your lips. You stared down your nose and realized that another pair of lips were on yours... ROBIN'S lips! What?!?!?
He pulled away and sighed, his face bright red. "Do you ever shut up, (y/n)?" He asked, staring deep into your (e/c) eyes.
"I-I-I," you couldn't manage to get the words out.
Robin just kissed you... ROBIN kissed you... Robin kissed YOU!
He sighed. "Do you really think I mind cleaning up your mess? I love you, Catgirl! I always will, but I understand if you don't like me back."
"Robin... I love you..."
He grinned and leaned towards you again.
If your broken arm made him act this way... You needed to break bones more often.
